Any scheduled lesson will not be reserved until The House That Rocks receives the registration form, registration fee, and the first month’s tuition.

Registration is open at any time and you may start in the middle of the month (depending on teachers availability). You may schedule a class at any time of the month. If you start in the middle of a month your tuition will be prorated at $36 per class, and then your monthly tuition will start on the 1st of the next month.

REGISTRATION FEE: A non-refundable registration fee of $20 per student will be due at the time of registration. This fee is to be paid on an annual basis at the start of each academic year.

TUITION: Tuition is due no later than the 1st of each month. Tuition can be paid on a monthly basis, or upfront for the entire year for a 10% discount. Jam Band, Jam Night, Master Classes and all other special classes will be billed to you and due on the 1st of the month.

PAYMENT TYPES: We accept all major credit card, checks, and cash. Please drop your check off with our receptionist and wait for your receipt. All checks and money orders should be made payable to The House That Rocks or THTR, and the student’s name should be included on your check. If you are paying your tuition with cash or credit card, please see the receptionist who will receive your payment and provide a receipt. Tuition is non-refundable.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS: Scheduling automatic payments is easy and encouraged, as this often helps to avoid a $25 late fee. As of January 1, 2019 tuition will be paid by automatic payments only.  If you can not provide a source for automatic payments then a deposit of $50 will be required.

SPECIAL CLASSES:  All fees for any extra classes such as jam band, jam night and master classes will be announced at the time of registration of that class.

NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS FEE: A $35.00 NSF fee will be charged for any returned checks or automatic payments.

ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE time: All students are expected to arrive on time so that each lesson may begin as scheduled. If you are late, your lesson will be shortened.

SUPERVISION: Teachers are not able to supervise students before and after their scheduled classes.

ABSENCE: There are no refunds or make-ups for missed lessons.  However, if a teacher is unable to make it to their lesson, The House That Rocks reserves all rights to provide a qualified substitute teacher.  If The House That Rocks is unable to arrange a substitute, any missed classes will be made up. We do not make up classes that are missed because of federal holidays and inclement weather.  Please note that we adhere to a  strict No-Make-Policy. We do not give make-up for missed classes. There are no refunds for last-minute cancellations and no-shows.

THREE-MONTH COMMITMENT: We ask for a three-month commitment to help get the students acclimated to the instrument and teacher.
